On October 19, during the celebration of the Navagob Congress, Ibero-American Congress of Public Innovation, TOGIVE project was presented at the round table of Technologies for collaborative learning, where topics such as the role played by technology in learning or the lines of development and research in relation to the technologies applied to education were discussed.

In this space, counting with the participation of representatives of the Province of Alicante, the Public Administration Institute of Quintana Roo México and from the Public Administration Institute of Andalucía, the main objectives of the project were announced. These objectives are related to the creation of the Open Government Digital Education Platform, development training courses in MOOC format (Massive Open Online Course) aimed mainly at public officials. The project involves a total of 12 organizations from Europe and Latin America, experts in Open Government and Educational Technology. Sinergies created among partners have allowed the extension of collaboration networks between entities and professionals.

The design and implementation of MOOCs follows common aspects that can be found in other courses. They are online courses offered to a large number of people who receive training through various materials available in open, which can have a diversity of formats, text, videos, interactive resources, etc. but it is also important to give special importance to the processes of interaction between participants and the value that each of the entities can contribute to the project by collecting a wide diversity of practices that serve as an example of Open Government in different contexts.

The session can be seen in our Youtube Channel.
